Our University has all modern educational and laboratorial facilities and resources for the professional training of our EMERCOM officers. It includes lecture halls, labs, libraries and other facilities with full access to the Internet, local university network and video conference communication. Our educational operations include 98 subjects: from fire security and industrial fire protection courses, crisis situation management to rescue mission of major hazard and operations analysis.
Scientific research is carried out in priority areas of science, engineering and technology development in the system EMERCOM of Russia:
- comprehensive hazard and risk assessment, in particular that of the potential ones, when predicting natural and man-made emergency situations;
- computer work stations establishment to manage EMERCOM forces and resources in case of emergency situations caused by global climate changes;
- fire research and investigation;
- condition assessment of the EMERCOM resources provision system, prediction of the EMERCOM supporting services development;
- technology development of immediate response to fires and emergency situations in metropolitan areas;
- stress resistance increase among EMERCOM personnel;
- monitoring and perfecting regulatory framework of EMERCOM activity.
The university publications conform all the applicable legal requirements of the RF and are included into the Scientific Electronic Library database.
According to the agreement on the Russian-Siberian Humanitarian Center about an educational cooperation, foreign fire-safety specialists and firefighters have profession development courses.
According to the agreement on the Kyungil University about an educational cooperation, students and academics of Kyungil University have profession development courses.
According to the agreement on the Emergency college in Finland about an educational cooperation, foreign fire-safety specialists and firefighters have profession development courses.
